Meow Wolf, the Santa Fe-based entertainment company that released “The Real Unreal” art exhibit in Grapevine, is paying homage to the 80s with its latest fashion offering — the neon tracksuit.

Featuring a retro color-block design, Meow Wolf’s microfiber “multiversal-travel-ready” tracksuits that could rival the ones in rap icon LL Cool J’s closet, are available to purchase on the Meow Wolf website. Fans looking to purchase this retro outfit can get the full suit for $145. Don’t want to the whole suit? Fans of this era of style can also purchase the track jacket ($85) and the track pants ($75) separately.

Meow Wolf originally featured these neon suits in a short film introducing its latest exhibit “The Real Unreal”, now open at the Grapevine Mills Mall. Since then, so called “Walkers” have been spotted in various areas of North Texas as a way of promoting the newly opened art exhibit while wearing them.

“These tracksuits are perfect for journeys through crystal cloud caves, carnivorous caverns, or the cytoplasm infrastructure of microorganisms,” the company said in a statement, referencing other Meow Wolf branches around the country.

“The Real Unreal” art exhibit, which puts a surrealist spin on suburban living by transporting visitors from a two-story home to an otherworldly realm of trippy, neon-tinged interiors has been open to the public since mid-July.

Founded in 2008, Meow Wolf was created by a collective of artists out of Santa Fe, New Mexico. It has since launched a series of interactive experiences located across the U.S. The company’s first permanent exhibition titled “House Of Eternal Return” was opened in Santa Fe in 2016. Other installments include “Omega Mart” (Las Vegas), and Denver’s “Convergence Station”.

Recognized in Fast Company's World's 50 Most Innovative Companies (2022 and 2020) and USA Today’s Top 10 Best Immersive Art Experiences (2022), Meow Wolf exhibits engage millions of curious seekers through discovery and play. Now add throw-back fashion to the list.
